2-Day Akagera National Park Safari

Day 1: Kigali – Transfer to Akagera National Park – Afternoon Game Drive Early morning pick-up from Kigali by your professional driver-guide and departure to Akagera National Park in eastern Rwanda. Upon arrival, enter the park and begin your afternoon game drive across the northern plains. This area offers excellent wildlife viewing, including: Elephants and buffalo Giraffes and zebras Antelopes such as impalas and topis Lions (with luck) Warthogs and baboons Enjoy the sunset over the savannah before heading to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay. Accommodation: Lodge inside or near Akagera National Park Meals: Lunch & Dinner Day 2: Morning Game Drive – Boat Safari on Lake Ihema – Return to Kigali Early morning game drive when wildlife is most active. This is the best time to spot predators and enjoy sunrise views across the savannah. After the game drive, return for breakfast and later enjoy a boat safari on Lake Ihema. During the cruise, expect to see: Large hippo pods and crocodiles Elephants and buffalo at the shoreline Water birds including fish eagles, herons, and kingfishers After lunch, begin your drive back to Kigali.
