4-Day Murchison Falls & Chimpanzee Trekking Safari Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park Depart from Entebbe or Kampala and travel north through scenic countryside. En route, stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for optional rhino tracking. Continue to Murchison Falls National Park and check in at your lodge for dinner and overnight stay. Day 2: Game Drive and Nile Boat Cruise Start the day with an early morning game drive in search of elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, lions, antelopes, and more. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise along the Nile River to the base of Murchison Falls, where the river forces itself through a narrow gorge, creating a spectacular natural display of power and beauty. Day 3: Chimpanzee Trekking Experience After breakfast, proceed to chimpanzee trekking in either Budongo Forest (near Murchison Falls) or transfer toward Kibale region depending on your itinerary arrangement. Trek through the rainforest with experienced rangers and spend one hour observing chimpanzees in their natural environment. Return to your lodge for relaxation. Day 4: Return to Entebbe or Kampala After breakfast, begin your journey back to Entebbe or Kampala.
